“To Sew” List

Most people have a to-do list. I have a to-sew list. I am slowly whittling it down though. I have a hard time saying no so when someone asks me “Do you think you could make _______?” My response is typically “Sure” and then my list gets longer!

I started sewing to make things for my great nieces and it slowly became a small business. Word is spreading about the memory quilts and my small projects that I want to attempt have to take a back seat. I’m not complaining, I just wish there were more hours in the day!

Currently on my “to-sew” list is:

A vendor apron for a friend

A toddler messenger bag

A birthday present for my youngest niece (she gets to pick pattern and fabric because I’m the cool aunt :))

A mechanic shirt from the last giveaway I was part of

The second “Fire” quilt

More baby doll diapers for the shop

Four larger quilts ranging in sizes from twin to queen in various stages that need finishing…

You get the idea. I usually will pick a couple of smaller projects to complete in the middle of a larger one to prevent becoming burnt out.

Hopefully I’ll have more goodies to show you soon!
